Ok firstly I want to thank all you chickadees in the pictures above for coming for Band Camp December 2009! ^^ You people really made this camp enjoyable and I bet me and Coretta and all the committee members that planned this camp didnt waste our effort. :)

Please note down stuffs to bring for Band Camp:
1) Toiletries - Shampoo, Toothbrush, Toothpaste etc.
2) Slippers
3) 2 Sets of clothes (School-based) Class tee, PE, Band tee or whatever
4) Plastic Bags for your dirty clothes
5) Waterbottle
6) Sleeping Bag
7) Socks
8) Band File
9) Pencil & Eraser
10) Towel
Do not bring your valuables or it'll be at your own loss.

Ok there is band on Monday 16/11/09!
Please wear your PE shirt with school bottom okay. Wear red if you have. No red wear green. No green wear purple. No purple wear yellow. No yellow wear blue.
Those who came for practice today should know why we're doing this. SLs please call up your section members during this weekend and hound them to come for band!
And those section representatives that I picked out during band today to call up your section members to ask them if they can make it for the camp, DO YOUR JOB. And sms me by Saturday who's coming and whatever not.

There is band practice tomorrow (12/11/09) Attire is band tee with school bottom. PE shorts also can. Report by 2.35pm for fall in. Late comers will be punished! Spread the word!
There is also a combined band performance (Hua Yi band and Mayflower concert band) this coming saturday @ macritchie reservoir at 5pm for an hour or so. Its free so please do support them! ^^

Band practice for Main band. 1PM-4PM
Attire: School uniform
Wednesday 9th September 2009
Combined band practice. 1PM-4PM
Attire: Band Tee! (If lost or can't find or got stolen, wear PE shirt)
Attendace is complusory hor okay. SLs please call/sms your section members to remind them to come for band practice punctually. Since practice starts at 1PM, reach at 12.30PM to set up your instruments! :) Please don't forget your name tags too! Bring name tags okay!

So lets do some reflection now. The aim for this camp was to instill discipline and to create bonding between all of us. Have we achieved that? I think we did well! :) So thumbs up for you all again! Hahaha! 
But lets' not let our enthusiasm be short-lived. We must continue to work hard + show more commitment towards band and go HK on June 2010! Ok? ;D

Ok there is a mistake in the announcements made yesterday! There is no more band till exams are over! Practice resumes after your End-Of-Year Examinations. K? So no band for Sec1s on Monday too. Time to mug hard for EOYs!
So if any of you wanna borrow home your instruments, call/sms/find/kidnap me or Coretta and we'll get the key for you. Try to borrow it home so that maybe you can practice abit here and there so that you wont get so rusty when band resumes. (Or maybe when you too stressed coz exams starting already then you can use it as a stress reliever and blast your instrument to irritate your neighbours? :P) HAHAHA.
So ya thats all! Study hard! Final year already leh.. Last chance to prove that you got brains! ^^

Oh ya oh ya! The Singapore Symphony Orchestra is performing at the Botanic Gardens tomorrow. It's called "SSO CLASSICS IN THE PARK". Its held at the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage at the Singapore Botanic Gardens at 6PM. Most importanly, (kiasu singaporeans like us only care about 1 thing) its FREE ADMISSION. Where got so good one right?! But yah its so good. So don't miss it okay. It'll be a good show I guarantee you! :)
